Optional analytics
With your permission, we use PostHog to measure page visits and traffic sources so we can improve Havora. Our analytics integration sends pageview events only after you accept analytics.
Those events include a random browser identifier, page categories and recognised page paths, the referring website’s domain, permitted campaign labels, new or returning visit information, and basic browser, operating-system, device and screen information. A random identifier is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity.
The current integration disables automatic interaction tracking, session recordings, heatmaps and person profiles. It does not send form contents or arbitrary URL query strings to PostHog. Network requests also expose connection information such as your IP address to the receiving service; server-side handling and retention remain to be verified.
Optional analytics relies on your consent. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using Havora.
Change your choice
Use the floating Analytics button to reopen the consent box. You can accept or reject analytics at any time.
Rejecting after accepting stops subsequent analytics collection by this integration. It does not automatically delete events already sent, and withdrawing consent does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.
Storage on your device
Havora stores your consent choice in your browser’s local storage so it can remember your decision. After acceptance, analytics also uses browser storage for its identifier and visit attribution. Some visit information uses session storage.
Site features also use browser storage to remember quiz progress and restore news browsing context. Local storage can remain until cleared by the site, you or your browser; session storage normally lasts for the tab’s session. Clearing site data may reset preferences and saved progress.
Hosting and service providers
Havora uses Cloudflare to deliver the site and PostHog for optional analytics. Delivering web pages involves processing technical request information, including IP addresses. The operator still needs to confirm the applicable hosting purposes and legal bases, provider agreements, processing locations, and any international-transfer safeguards.
External websites linked from Havora have their own privacy practices.
Retention
The actual retention periods for analytics events and hosting or security logs have not yet been verified and must be added here. No specific server-side deletion period is promised by this draft.
Your rights
Where applicable under data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. These rights depend on the circumstances and legal basis.
You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority. The operator must provide a working privacy contact above so requests can be directed to Havora.
